PureVision 2 monthly contact lenses correct short-sightedness with a dioptric value of -2.75. They are made from a silicone hydrogel material, Balafilcon A, which contains 36% water. The oxygen permeability is 130 Dk/t, ensuring the cornea receives the oxygen it needs. A light tint makes the lenses easier to handle when putting them in and taking them out. In addition to standard daily wear, they also support continuous wear, including occasional overnight use, following consultation with an eye care specialist.
