In this year's first spring harvest, you will find delicate teas with a beautiful aroma and a full, very pleasant taste that will be a refreshing addition to your table. The aroma is fresh and floral, slightly sweet or even gently spicy. Alongside China and Sri Lanka, India is the largest tea producer in the world. The tea industry here employs around two million people, and the total annual production is between 800 and 900 thousand tonnes. The vast majority of teas from India are black. Green tea is produced in larger quantities in the north-west of the country and is mainly intended for the Afghan and Iranian markets. Higher-quality green and partially oxidised teas are successfully grown in Darjeeling.

Pour 250ml of hot water at approximately 100°C over 15–18g of tea. Let it steep for 3–5 minutes, depending on the desired strength.
Store in a dry place at a temperature of up to 25°C, away from direct sunlight. Protect from frost.
