The McGrey DK-88 digital piano has a black, wood-effect base that screws onto the piano itself. Alongside high-quality sounds, the keys offer great features for learning music. Almost all settings are controlled via the keyboard. The functions are displayed directly above the keys, offering quick access without disrupting the piano's appearance. A wide variety of sounds with effects. On the right-hand side, there are nine buttons for different sounds; the first eight of these let you select the most common sounds and percussion. The ninth button can be assigned to one of a total of 139 GM sounds. Pressing two buttons simultaneously mixes the two selected sounds (Dual).

Integrated media player
The Split and Twinova modes differ in how they divide the keyboard. Split lets you set a different sound for the left and right parts of the keyboard. With the Twinova function (the "Lesson" key), the keyboard is divided into two halves, so you effectively have two small, independent piano keyboards side by side. The built-in player can play MP3 files from a USB flash drive directly through the speakers. Simple playback controls are available, such as play/pause, skip, repeat/shuffle, and a dedicated volume control. To play along with your favourite songs, you can connect a smartphone, tablet, or other MP3 player to the jack socket. The music plays directly from the speakers. On the back, there are two headphone outputs and a USB host port for connecting to a computer.
