Wi-Fi connectivity and speed
This wireless system fully supports the 802.11a/b/g/n/ac standards to ensure compatibility with both older and modern devices. It operates at speeds of up to 867Mb/s on the 5GHz band, while the 2.4GHz band reaches speeds of up to 400Mb/s. Integrated MU-MIMO technology transmits data to multiple devices in parallel, increasing the overall network throughput. Additionally, Beamforming signal routing locates connected phones or computers and concentrates the wireless signal strength directly towards them.
Mesh technology and WiFi coverage
The two-unit set can reliably cover an area of up to 260m², eliminating dead spots in multi-storey houses or larger flats. The 802.11k/v/r protocols ensure seamless roaming, during which client devices automatically switch to a stronger node without interrupting downloads or calls. The system easily handles up to 100 concurrently connected devices, meeting the demands of a modern smart home with dozens of active sensors and computers.
Network security
The WPA2-PSK encryption standard ensures that transmitted data is protected from unauthorised access. The built-in SPI Firewall actively filters network traffic and protects the internal structure from external threats from the internet. Advanced parental controls make it easy to create user profiles, limit time spent online, and filter inappropriate content for children. There is also the option to create a separate guest network on both frequency bands.
Connectivity options
Each unit includes physical ports with automatic connection type detection. This simplifies installation, as you don't need to distinguish between an input and output cable. Wired connections reach speeds ten times faster than standard Ethernet ports and transfer data stably without any performance fluctuations. Two gigabit WAN/LAN ports are available on each unit, along with one power connector for the mains adapter.
