Along with improved coverage, it also reduces signal drops. The Mercusys ME30 WiFi Extender can also be used as an access point. In this mode, it adds a WiFi hotspot to the wired network so that wireless devices can easily connect to the Internet. This model ranks among dual-band devices, which are adapted to work in two frequency bands and thus have a stronger signal and high transmission speed. The Mercusys WiFi extender works with the 2,4 GHz and 5 GHz band. This model features a WiFi signal speed of up to 1200 Mb/s and 100 Mbit when wired. Data security is ensured by WEP 64bit, WEP 128bit, WPA-PSK and WPA2-PSK encryption. You will be able to work with two frequency bands, so there is no need to worry about signal interference from other devices.
