MattFinish for a clean and elegant look
The MattFinish surface gives the hob a sophisticated matt look while helping to reduce the visibility of minor scratches and fingerprints. This keeps the ceramic glass looking neater, even with daily use. The matt black design also fits easily into modern kitchens with an emphasis on clean lines and a premium look.
M Sense ready for assisted cooking
The MIELE KM 8585 FL hob is ready for use with compatible M Sense cookware. This enables you to use assisted cooking and frying, which helps you better control the cooking process and reduce the risk of burning or overcooking. This practical function is particularly useful for dishes where more precise temperature control and a consistent result are important.
PowerFlex for fast and flexible cooking
Three powerful PowerFlex areas offer plenty of space for various types of cookware. You can use them for standard pots and pans as well as for larger cookware that requires a wider cooking surface. Their high power output makes them ideal for quickly bringing water to the boil, searing food, and preparing larger portions.
Pan and pan size recognition
The MIELE KM 8585 FL hob can recognise the presence of a pan and its size. After placing a pot or pan on the cooking surface, the hob intuitively assesses where the cookware is and lets you start cooking with ease. This ensures heat is used more efficiently and operation is simpler, even when frequently moving cookware around.
Practical extra functions for convenient cooking
The MIELE KM 8585 FL offers a range of functions for more convenient cooking. Stop&Go quickly reduces the power of all cooking zones during a short interruption, wiping protection temporarily locks the controls for cleaning, and Recall restores settings after an accidental switch-off. There is also a kitchen timer, automatic switch-off, auto heat-up, a keep-warm function and individual settings, such as for signal tones.
MultiSlide for precise control of the MIELE KM 8585 FL hob
The MultiSlide control uses 6 separate sliders, so you can adjust each cooking zone directly and clearly. Adjust the power with a simple swipe of your finger without the hassle of switching between zones. This keeps control fast, intuitive and precise when preparing multiple dishes at once.
Safety features for more relaxed cooking
The safety features help prevent unexpected situations when using the hob. It includes a safety switch-off, a system lock, a safety lock, an integrated cooling fan, overheating protection, and a residual heat indicator. This gives you a better overview of the hob's status both during and after cooking.
