Mobile Connectivity
The device supports LTE Cat4 mobile networks with download speeds of up to 150 Mbps and upload speeds of 50 Mbps. The integrated modem supports one nano SIM card and an eSIM, which allow for flexible connection to a mobile network. You can switch between the physical SIM and the eSIM as needed. The device allows for the connection of external LTE and GPS antennas via standard SMA connectors.
Data Collection from IoT Sensors
The Bluetooth version 5.4 wireless interface is used to collect telemetry data from nearby sensors and beacons. The built-in Bluetooth scanner supports Long Range Bluetooth and Extended Advertising modes for long distances. The device collects telemetry information from nearby sensors and sends it to a central system via the mobile network. In addition, the integrated GNSS receiver enables location tracking.
Flexible Power Options
The model offers two power supply methods depending on the specific conditions at the installation site. The first option is an adapter powering the device via the USB-C port with a 5V supply. The second option is powering via the Power over Ethernet 802.3af/at standard on the gigabit LAN port. Passive heat dissipation keeps the operating temperature within an optimal range without any moving parts.
Industrial Automation and GPIO Interface
The GPIO wired interface with a tolerance of up to 24V allows for a direct connection to external sensors and switches. Developers can use the digital inputs, analogue inputs, and open collectors to monitor the status of external devices. This system simplifies integration into industrial switchboards and automated lines. The device was originally created for monitoring vending machines and coffee machines.
Network Functions Managed by RouterOS
The RouterOS version 7 operating system provides a complete network stack for advanced network configuration. Users can configure VPNs (Virtual Private Networks), filter traffic using the integrated firewall, and manage QoS (Quality of Service). The system supports the modern Internet Protocol version 6 and allows for sending SMS notifications. Management is handled remotely via a secure interface.
Integration into Confined Spaces
The compact chassis, measuring 22 × 90 × 70mm, allows for installation in very small spaces. The package includes a mounting kit that supports attachment to a standard DIN rail. The device operates in a wide temperature range from -40°C to 70°C, which is suitable for demanding industrial environments. The IP20-rated body protects the internal components from the ingress of solid particles.
