MiPow Playbulb Spot

MiPow Playbulb SPot is a light bulb that you can install with spotlights, ceilings and other modern luminaires using its GU10 connector. Just by moving your finger, you can switch between 16.8 million colours and connect up to 5 of these bulbs in a group that you control as one device. You can do all this by installing the free Playbulb X application to your Bluetooth 4.0-enabled smartphone. This allows you to change the bulb's colour and use five different lighting effects from a distance of up to 10 meters. The Playbulb Spot can also function on its own, needs only 4 watts of power and lasts for up to 20,000 hours.

You can easily install the Mipow Playbulb Spot anywhere you've ever used a classic halogen bulb with a GU10 connector. When compared to an equivalent 35-watt halogen bulb, Playwowbulb Spot's 4W power output delivers up to 90% energy savings. When you add that to a 20,000-hour lifespan, you know you've got a great deal. It also looks great and once you've turned it on, it emits a warm and bright light ideal for bathrooms or table lamps.

Easy to use through the Playbulb X app

The free Playbulb X, available on an iOS or Android 4.3 or higher device, provides easy control through Bluetooth 4.0 at a distance of up to 10 meters. With one finger you can change the bulb's colour and select one of five lighting effects - Candle, Pulsing, Rainbow, Rainbow Fade and Flashing.  You can also modify the parameters of each lighting effect, for example, to change the speed. In your bedroom, you will definitely welcome the Timer function, which allows you to set the time and speed of light dimming or brightening.  You will be falling asleep as the sun goes down and waking up as the sun rises -helping your body to get into the rhythm of each day. 

Linking lights to groups

Using the application, you can connect up to 5 bulbs to make a supergroup, which you can then control as one device. You can also include other members of the Playbulb family such as Rainbow and Color light bulbs or Comet + LED strips.
