The Montech AIR 903 BASE Midi Tower PC case in black is designed for building PC systems that demand excellent cooling and ample internal space. Its concept focuses on maximum airflow, achieved through a perforated front panel with 51% ventilation. This design creates the ideal conditions for running powerful gaming and professional components. The spacious interior supports the installation of motherboards up to E-ATX format and offers plenty of room for large graphics cards and tall CPU coolers. Construction and design
The steel chassis gives the entire build the necessary rigidity and reduces vibration transfer. The left side panel, made of tempered glass, reveals the internal components and allows for visual inspection of the build without disassembly. With external dimensions of 47.8 × 23 × 49.3cm, the case maintains the standard size of a Midi Tower, yet offers exceptional internal volume for powerful hardware and its effective cooling. The clean lines and black finish underscore its functional focus.
Cooling system and maintenance
The manufacturer has fitted the case with three 140mm HP140 PWM fans, which immediately create a strong airflow. A total of nine fan positions are available, offering extensive options for further customising the cooling system. For liquid cooling enthusiasts, the design supports the mounting of radiators up to 360mm on both the front and top panels. Dust filters with a quick-release mechanism ensure the interior stays clean and simplify maintenance.
Internal layout and storage
The internal layout accommodates ATX, mATX, and mITX motherboards, as well as the larger E-ATX and SSI-EEB formats. Users can install air CPU coolers up to 180mm in height and graphics cards up to 400mm in length, which includes even the largest gaming accelerators on the market. For storage devices, there are a total of seven positions: two for 3.5-inch hard drives and five for 2.5-inch SSDs, covering the needs of most builds.
Cable management and PSU
The ATX-format PSU is housed in a separate tunnel at the bottom, which contributes to better cable management and thermal isolation from other components. Behind the motherboard, you will find a dedicated space for cable routing that is 27mm wide. This solution, along with rubber grommets and Velcro straps, significantly simplifies the build process and helps maintain a clean interior appearance, which is crucial for uninterrupted airflow.
Connectivity and controls
The control panel is located on the top for convenient access, even when the case is placed on the floor. It includes a modern USB-C connector, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, and audio jacks for headphones and a microphone. The presence of both a combined and separate 3.5mm jacks expands compatibility with various types of headsets. This selection of connectors fully meets the current demands for connecting modern peripherals and external storage devices.
