Powerful, Light and Balanced

The MTD 990 has a speed of 7,600rpm with no load and a 46cm range, and its instant start feature does not require the machine to be warmed up beforehand. Also, its weight of only 8kg makes working with the machine much easier. The brushcutter is equipped with a Tip-Automatic head, which makes it easy to set the correct length of the monofilament. AST makes it really easy to start and its four-stroke engine is a more popular alternative to the two-stroke model, as fuel mixing is avoided, producing far lower emissions.
