Each WiFi router includes Dual-Band connectivity as a standard, so you can connect to either 2.4GHz or 5GHz networks. TP-Link access points are usually only used to send WiFi signals and have 1 LAN port to connect to the modem or router. TP-Link Modems for Mobile and Fixed DSL Connections
Mobile LTE/3G modems combine a WiFi router with an active SIM card and use the data on the card to access the internet. They are compact in design and have a long battery life and can alternatively be run from a mains power supply. DSL TP-Link modems access the internet via an ADSL2+/VDSL2 network. The more advanced models also support the modern WiFi 802.11ac standard over a 5GHz band and are fitted with a reliable antenna system for stable connectivity.
TP-Link Switches and Routers
TP-Link Switches are used to connect several computers to a Local Area Network (LAN). Each port is equipped with an RJ-45 connector and can handle up to 1Gbps. The portable network cards have USB 3.0 and 2.0 interfaces and easily connect to your laptop or computer. These PCI Express cards are equipped with an external antenna for stable WiFi reception and are suitable for permanent installation on older desktop PCs that lack integrated WiFi hardware. TP-Link network cards support 802.11a/b/g/n/ac WiFi standards and can handle up to 1,900Mbps over a Dual-band network.
TP-Link Powerline Adapters
TP-Link Powerline Adapters plug directly into 230V sockets to transfer data at a range of up to 300m, replacing long, complex Ethernet cable systems. Each powerline has its own RJ-45 connector to connect to a modem, router, access point or computer. The adapters boast streaming speeds of up to 2Gb/s and 128-bit AES data encryption with an easy plug-and-play configuration. The Powerline TP-Link is equipped with a power saving mode and can also be used as a WiFi extender.
