Whether you're shooting sports, events or reportage, the exceptionally compact lens will set you free when shooting distant subjects. The NIKKOR Z 70-200mm f/2.8 VR S lens is designed for Nikon Z mount mirrorless cameras with Full Frame sensor, offers autofocus, optical image stabilisation, Dust and moisture resistance, has a 77 mm diameter filter thread and weighs approximately 1440 g.

The perfect lens for action photography and video

Whether you're shooting action or recording video, the NIKKOR Z 70-200mm f/2.8 VR S lens gives you everything you need. Focusing is smooth, fast and noiseless, and all scene elements are rendered with exceptional brilliance. You can control image parameters directly on the lens and the design is robust enough to withstand the rigors of everyday professional use.

Excellent reproduction of out-of-focus areas

The Nikon Z's large-diameter bayonet, nine-lamellas circular aperture and fixed f/2.8 aperture allow for stunning results in any light. The telephoto zoom lens also provides natural-looking reproduction of out-of-focus areas of the image, transitioning smoothly to the edges of the image field.

Excellent sharpness and minimised colour defects

The sharpness of the entire image is excellent - even when shooting with the aperture fully open or at short distances. The shortest focusing distance is only 0.5 m at the shortest focal length and 1 m at the longest focal length. Antireflective ARNEO and Nano Crystal Coat layers reduce the appearance of reflexes and veils. Nikon ED and SR glass suppress the appearance of colour defects, and SR glass compensates for difficult-to-manage blue light. You get sharper images and better contrast.

Perfect control and smooth focusing when shooting video

If the action calls for video, you have smooth and precise control over the images. The depth of field is shown on the lens bar - so you can easily determine the minimum and maximum sharply reproduced distance for each aperture value. The focal length changes during focusing have been almost eliminated, and the smooth and stable aperture control guarantees natural exposure changes when shooting a scene.

Durability and technology for harsh conditions

The lens is perfectly sealed and ready to work in the harshest environments. Fluorine coating repels water, dust and dirt without compromising image quality. The OLED information panel allows you to quickly check aperture, focus distance, exact focal length, ISO sensitivity and depth of field directly on the lens.

Instinctive control and customisable features

The zoom and focus rings offer optimum resistance when rotated for comfortable operation. The noiseless command ring can be used to control aperture or adjust ISO sensitivity or exposure correction. Focus locking, exposure metering, bracketing and more. You can assign a total of 21 different functions to the Fn buttons on the lens.
