The easy-to-use Nikon SB-500 is designed for digital SLR cameras and some selected COOLPIX models. It features powerful LED lighting, which is great for recording movies. The advantage of this model is its low weight and compact dimensions combined with easy directional control of lighting.
The flash head can be tilted up to 90° upwards and horizontally rotated at an angle of 180°. This makes it easy to adapt your flash light to your requirements. In addition, the flash can be used as a Master flash and combined with multiple flash units located away from the camera, and in combination with cameras that have a built-in flash with a control mode. Nikon’s beginnings date back to 1917 in Japan. At first, the company mainly produced lenses - telescopes, binoculars, microscopes and other small, optical equipment. Soon the company expanded its portfolio, producing photographic lenses under the Nikkor brand.
In the field of cameras, particularly among professionals, Nikon quickly gained a reputation as a top manufacturer, which continues today. Its cameras were even included in the equipment of American spacecraft. Nikon designed and produced the legendary Nikon SP 1957, regarded by many as the best camera of all time.
