Nová bezzrcadlovka Nikon Z6 je v současné době jeden z vůbec nejlepších full-frame fotoaparátů na trhu. Vyznačuje se naprosto špičkovou kvalitou fotografií, celkově vysokou rychlostí a přesným systémem automatického zaostřování, stejně jako čipem s vysokou citlivostí a pětiosou stabilizací. Tělo je přitom malé a lehké, ale se zachováním skvělé ergonomie i logiky ovládání. Samozřejmostí je celokovové provedení odolné proti stékající vodě a prachu, nebo polohovatelný LCD monitor, či kompletní bezdrátová komunikace s chytrými zařízeními. Na bezzrcadlovku skvělá výdrž baterie.
Nevýhodou může být snad jen jeden slot na paměťovou kartu, navíc méně obvyklého typu a pro někoho možná i absence vestavěného blesku, či video ve 4K jen s 30p.
