One camera, total versatility.
The Nikon ZR digital camera combines advanced film features with a compact mirrorless design, for which it has won the prestigious Red Dot Best of the Best award. The device uses a full-frame CMOS sensor with an effective resolution of 24.5Mpx. The Nikon Z mount is used to attach a wide range of compatible optical elements. The integrated 5-axis image stabilisation effectively compensates for handshake when shooting and filming. The body construction, weighing just 540g and measuring approximately 8.05 × 13.4 × 4.9cm, makes long-term work in the field easier.
The mirrorless camera supports internal video recording in resolutions up to 6K at 60p. Creators can take advantage of RED's exclusive R3D NE codec, which provides freedom in post-production. The range of codecs also includes Apple ProRes RAW HQ or H.265. Four creative video modes and nine custom RED Picture Control presets are available. These tools help you achieve a cinematic look straight out of the camera without the need for complex colour grading.
The fast and intelligent autofocus system uses hybrid technology with phase detection and contrast detection. In video mode, it works with up to 253 focus points, while for photography it offers 299. Subject tracking reliably keeps details sharp even with fast movement in the shot. Users can define their own wide-area focus fields according to the specific scene. The system also offers selectable refocusing speeds for smooth transitions.
The integrated on-sensor vibration reduction works on five axes and helps to steady shots when filming handheld. The system can be combined with optical stabilisation in compatible Nikon Z-mount lenses. The mechanical image stabilisation effectively reduces shake when working in lower light conditions. The focus breathing correction feature eliminates so-called focus breathing. The result is natural focus transitions without unwanted changes in composition.
This device supports in-camera 32-bit float audio recording. Audio can be captured using the built-in microphones or compatible external devices connected via a 3.5mm jack. The high dynamic recording range prevents distortion of overly loud sounds. The volume level can be conveniently adjusted during post-production without loss of detail. Recording directionality and wind noise reduction settings are also available.
The camera body weighs just 540g and is completely sealed against dust and moisture. The innovative design efficiently dissipates heat to ensure reliable operation even during longer shoots. The 10cm vari-angle touchscreen monitor offers a high resolution of approximately 3,070,000 pixels. The display covers the DCI-P3 colour gamut and helps with precise exposure control. In addition, up to ten 3D LUT tables can be loaded into the camera's memory for an instant preview of the final image.

Nikon’s beginnings date back to 1917 in Japan. At first, the company mainly produced lenses - telescopes, binoculars, microscopes and other small, optical equipment. Soon the company expanded its portfolio, producing photographic lenses under the Nikkor brand.
In the field of cameras, particularly among professionals, Nikon quickly gained a reputation as a top manufacturer, which continues today. Its cameras were even included in the equipment of American spacecraft. Nikon designed and produced the legendary Nikon SP 1957, regarded by many as the best camera of all time.
