nJoy Balder 2000

nJoy Balder 2000
The nJoy Balder 2000 backup power supply operates on an on-line double-conversion principle, delivering an apparent power of 2000VA and a real power of 2000W. With a power factor of 1.0, the apparent power matches the real power, which is crucial for powering modern servers and workstations. At half load (1000W), it can power connected devices for up to 13 minutes. This online UPS was designed for critical applications that require continuous protection. The output is always a pure sine wave, ensuring the seamless operation of sensitive electronics. Its flexible rack/convertible design adapts for installation in a 2U rack position or for vertical standing.
Key features of the nJoy Balder 2000 backup power supply
- Uses on-line double-conversion topology
- Provides a pure sine wave output
- Hot-swappable batteries for uninterrupted power
- Programmable output socket groups
- Intelligent port for network management (SNMP)
- Cold start function for starting without mains power
- Data and telephone line protection (RJ11/RJ45)
- Energy-saving ECO mode
Stable power, battery and protection
On-line double-conversion (VFI) technology constantly regenerates the power supply and eliminates any delay when switching to battery. A power factor of 1.0 means the apparent power of 2000VA corresponds to the real power of 2000W. A wide input voltage range of 110–300V AC reduces the frequency of switching to battery power, extending its lifespan. At 100% load, it powers devices for 4 minutes, while the energy-saving ECO mode increases operating efficiency up to 97% when powered from a high-quality grid. Battery power is provided by six HR07122H accumulators. You can replace them during operation without having to switch off connected devices. The automatic charger with adjustable current replenishes the capacity to 95% in 3 hours. The cold start function allows the UPS to start even without an input power supply.
Advanced management and connectivity
Several communication interfaces are available for local and remote management. The standard equipment includes a USB port with HID support for easy integration with operating systems and an RS-232 serial port for industrial applications. For full network integration, an intelligent port for an optional SNMP card is ready. Once installed, you can monitor and control the power supply remotely. Management is handled by ViewPower software for direct connection, while the ViewPower Pro version is designed for network management. The power supply connects to the mains using an IEC-320 C20 input connector. Eight IEC C13 output sockets are available to power your appliances. Four of these sockets are fully programmable. The connector equipment also includes RJ11/RJ45 ports for telephone or data line protection.
