Noctua NF-A8 PWM

This effective fan that is designed for use in computer cabinets comes from the well-known manufacturer Noctua. The NF-A8 PWM model uses seven integrated blade rotor blades. Thanks to them, it precisely directs the air outlet and is great for water cooling radiators or large processor tower coolers. The fan is equipped with Noctua PWM control, which ensures automatic speed control with very low power consumption.

 

Improved blade design

 

The Noctua NF-A8 PWM falls into an 80mm category and 7 blades develop a maximum speed of 2,200 rpm. Using the LNA (Low Noise Adapter) adapter, the value drops to 1,750 rpm and achieves a maximum flow of air of 55.5m3 per hour.

The Noctua NF-A8 PWM (Advanced Acoustic Optimisation) designed for as low noise as possible. This is why integrated anti-vibration pads made from extra-soft silicone minimise the transmission of minute vibrations while maintaining full compatibility with all standard screws and other mounting systems.. The resulting noise level is 17.7 dB at maximum load and 13.8 dB using an adapter.

 

SSO2 bearings

 

For years, Noctua's proven proprietary bearings have been further improved in the second generation, so the Noctua NF-A8 PWM uses optimised SSO2 bearings. In this generation, the rear magnet is even closer to the axle and therefore offers better stability, precision and durability, which also helps to place the bearing in the massive body. The fan will offer an unprecedented average time of trouble-free operation exceeding 150,000 hours, ie 17 years. All this with high quality performance that will be appreciated by true computer enthusiasts. On the motherboard, the fan is connected by a 4-pin connector.
