Noctua NF-A8 ULN

This ultra-quiet fan for computer cabinets is designed for users who want maximum peace of mind, without noise disturbance, while they work. The Noctua NF-A8 ULN comes in a 80mm category and offers two speed settings - 1,400 and 1,100 rpm using an integrated Ultra Low Noise (ULN) adaptor.

Almost inaudible

This model is equipped with a design called AAO (Advanced Acoustic Optimisation) designed to produce the lowest noise. This is why the integrated extra-soft silicone anti-vibration mats, a special stage design and a surface structure for better airflow are well worth it. As a result, the noise level is only 10.4 dB(A) at a maximum load of 1,400 rpm, and at a fan speed of 1,100 rpm the noise level is reduced further to just 6.5 dB(A).

Long stamina

Seven blades of the integrated rotor achieve a full air flow rate of 34.8 m3/h, and at a lower speed with the adaptor this level reduces to 25.6 m3/h. The fan will offer an unprecedented average time of trouble-free operation exceeding 150,000 hours, ie 17 years . All this with high quality performance that will be appreciated by true computer enthusiasts.

SSO2 bearings

Well-proven proprietary Noctua bearings have been further improved in the second generation, so the Noctua NF-A8 ULN uses optimised SSO2 bearings. In this generation, the rear magnet is even closer to the axle and therefore offers better stability, precision and durability, which also helps to place the bearing in the massive body. On the motherboard, the fan is connected by a 3-pin connector, and a 3:4-pin adaptor is also included.
