Features aimed at performers
Eight multi-function pads (four for each channel) on the Numark Scratch allow you to fire hot cue points, control rolls to build up the vibe, and also control the Serato DJ Pro sampler quickly and easily directly from the mixing desk. There's also a flash looping knob for each channel, plus a separate Low/High pass filter knob that's independent of the software, so it works just as conveniently and efficiently for analogue mixing as it does for DVS playback.
DVS Ready with Serato DJ Pro
Numark Scratch includes the full version of Serato DJ Pro including a full DVS license for $99. The DVS license allows DJs to connect turntables or players to the console to control Serato DJ Pro with Noisemap Control vinyl or CDs. Plus, with Serato DJ Pro, you can connect any compatible controller (like the NDX500) and have a complete setup at your fingertips.
