Olife Energy Wallbox AC 22 kW - Solar - socket

Olife Energy Wallbox AC 22 kW - Solar - socket
The OlifeEnergy WallBox AC 22 kW - Solar is a durable, all-metal charging station for charging all electric vehicles with alternating current (AC) at up to 22kW. It is designed for both indoor and outdoor use, with the option of mounting it on a wall or on a post anchored to the ground. The WallBox is equipped with a socket. Charging can start automatically as soon as the vehicle is connected, after identification via RFID card, or by mobile phone. Full configuration is also carried out via the smartphone app. The station's power can be set in the range of 0–22kW. The station can be connected to the ripple control signal, integrated into a smart home, linked to a battery storage unit, or integrated with other control systems. Using the external OlifeEnergy SmartMeter unit, the station's power can be dynamically controlled to prevent the circuit breaker from tripping during high consumption, to charge from solar power plant surpluses, or from the low tariff.
Key features of the Olife Energy WallBox AC 22 kW - Solar - socket

- RFID authorisation
- Configuration via mobile app (local Bluetooth)
- Charges from PV surpluses
- Communicates with photovoltaic inverters
- A New Green Savings grant can be obtained for the purchase of an Olife Energy charging station
For charging two electric vehicles at the same time
The Olife Energy WallBox AC 22 kW - Solar is designed for charging all types of electric vehicles on the EU market with alternating current (AC). It can charge two electric vehicles at the same time, each with a power input of up to 22kW. The input power cable must be preceded by a type A residual current device with a minimum nominal current of 40A.
Smart charging from photovoltaic surpluses
The solar module of the Olife Energy WallBox AC 22 kW - Solar station supports three main charging modes. In the mode for charging an electric vehicle from PV surpluses, the DoubleBox SOLAR communicates with selected PV inverters (GoodWe (ET series), SOLAX, Dražice, Huawei (SUN2000)) for domestic photovoltaic power plants (PV) without the need to purchase an OlifeEnergy SmartMeter for main circuit breaker protection. The solar module communicates with the photovoltaic inverter via Wi-Fi or the Ethernet ModBus TCP protocol over the local network (LAN). In addition, it facilitates remote management and setup of the station over the local network. Cooperation with the inverter enables the station to control the charging of the electric vehicle to achieve the highest possible charging speed with maximum efficiency of the produced solar energy for charging the car from PV surpluses. In this mode, the intensity of charging the electric vehicle is continuously adapted to the current energy production from the photovoltaic power plant and the current household consumption. The main goal is to maximise the use of the generated solar energy for charging and to minimise or completely prevent energy overflow back into the distribution grid.
Smart start of charging with support from the grid
Charging only starts when there is a surplus of energy corresponding to the minimum charging current of 6A (determined by the vehicle's characteristics). In this mode, it is also possible to set the Grid Assistant - purchasing missing amps from the grid. For example, if I set a purchase of 3A, charging will start with surpluses of just 3A, as the sum will reach the required 6A. This eliminates charging interruptions if, for example, a cloud appears and PV production drops. The Grid Assistant always purchases only the maximum set value of amps. If the surplus is higher, no purchase is made. For example, if I have set a purchase of 3A, but the surplus is 5A, only 1A is purchased. If the surplus is 7A, nothing is purchased.
Dynamic circuit breaker protection and charging control
In circuit breaker protection mode, the charging current is dynamically regulated to ensure that the total current drawn by the household, including charging the electric vehicle, does not exceed the set value of the main circuit breaker. If the total current on any phase exceeds the circuit breaker limit, the OlifeEnergy WallBox AC 22 kW - Solar will limit or completely stop charging with a time delay. Charging will automatically resume as soon as the total electricity consumption in the household drops enough so that the total consumption (household + minimum charging current of 6A) is below the main circuit breaker limit with a reserve (2A). In battery state of charge (SoC) control mode, charging is controlled based on the current state of charge of the household's PV battery storage (SoC – State of Charge).
