With the 4/3" 16Mpx LiveMOS Sensor, you can capture sharp and sharp images in every situation. The powerful TruePic VII processor takes care of fast processing of images in superb quality. The extremely fast "Fast AF" autofocus is available to take action shots.
5-axis optical stabilisation eliminates the blur of hand-held shots and produces perfectly sharp images even in low light or when shooting motion. The image stabiliser is integrated into the body of the camera for a more effective, lighter system.
The Olympus E-M10 Mark II features a high-quality OLED electronic viewfinder with a breath-taking 2.36 million dots and 100% coverage. This gives you accurate composition and image control. For maximum comfort during shooting, you can view all settings in the viewfinder in real time. There is also an LCD with a screen of 7.6cm.
You can choose from 25 scene modes, including, for example, portrait, landscape, night mode, panorama, macro, etc. These modes automatically optimise camera settings according to specific conditions. You can easily create collages from your pictures or add stylish frames according to pre-set templates with Photo Story.
The E-M10 Mark II makes image sharing a breeze. Upload your images in an instant to your smartphone using Olympus Image Share (OI.Share) and effortlessly share them with friends and family. With built-in Wi-Fi, you can control a whole range of settings without having to touch the camera. Situations where this remote control are useful, include when shooting from a tripod where remote shutter release is a must; when the camera is not in reach; or the camera is in an extreme environment.
The camera features a high-end PEN lens with a wide range that makes it easy to capture both the smiles in the faces of your children as well as the wide scenery of the remote mountains. It is equipped with extremely fast AF focusing. There are multiple surface coatings on all optical members. The lens is 35% smaller than its predecessor and offers a 10.7x optical zoom.
The camera is equipped with a powerful built-in flash to take beautiful shots even in low light. You'll also welcome the built-in flash when you travel, since it is one less thing to carry.
Use the Time Lapse mode to create a series of images over time which can then be recompiled into a 4 K movie where time appears to have been sped up.
The Live Composite intelligent mode uses specially developed brightness control technology to create a design from a series of individual shots. Previewing the result before you press the shutter button will help you determine the correct exposure.
In this mode the E-M10 Mark II shoots a number of photos, each with different focus settings. It is especially useful for close-ups and better macro shooting.
Now you can be in the centre of the action without being the centre of attraction. Silent Shutter mode makes sure the shutter release doesn’t make a sound when pressed – for perfectly silent shooting.
You can take original images from non-traditional viewing angles using the pop-up display. Look at the world from a frog's perspective or from the ceiling. Make the most of your creativity and give your pictures individual genius.
