Integrated walkie-talkie for instant communication
The Oukitel WP61 PLUS stands out from other phones with its built-in 2W DMR walkie-talkie, which enables you to quickly communicate with colleagues or other group members without waiting for a call to connect. Simply hold down the PTT button or activate voice communication in the relevant app. The walkie-talkie supports both digital DMR and analogue modes and enables private, group and broadcast calls. It's useful for work on construction sites, in warehouses, for security, in agriculture, for event organisation and during expeditions outside of normal mobile signal coverage.
The communication range can reach up to 5.5km in optimal conditions, but the actual distance is affected by terrain, buildings, vegetation, interference and the settings of the devices used. The phone includes a detachable flexible rubber antenna that is more resistant to bumps and drops than a fixed design. The use of radio communication is always governed by local regulations and set frequencies.
Power for long shifts and expeditions
The built-in 20000mAh battery provides a large power reserve for several days in the great outdoors, working in the field and in emergency situations. The Oukitel WP61 PLUS can power the phone, walkie-talkie, navigation, cameras and powerful rear light for long periods of time without you having to constantly search for a power socket. The 45W fast charging support helps to reduce the time needed to recharge such a large battery.
You can also use reverse charging to power another phone, tablet, wireless headphones, smartwatch or other compatible electronics. The Oukitel WP61 PLUS also supports 10W charging via an optional docking stand with Pogo Pin contacts, which also makes it easier to view the display. The docking station is not listed in the official list of basic package contents.
MediaTek processor performance and 5G connectivity
The octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7025 processor, built with 6nm technology, provides plenty of performance for work applications, navigation, communication, multimedia and gaming. Two powerful Cortex-A78 cores reach frequencies of up to 2.5GHz, while six power-efficient Cortex-A55 cores ensure efficient operation during normal activities. 5G mobile network support enables fast file downloads, smooth video calls and comfortable work with cloud services. The phone has 12GB of LPDDR5 physical RAM, which can be virtually expanded by another 24GB. This lets the system work with a total capacity of up to 36GB RAM and makes it easier to switch between running applications. Fast UFS 3.1 storage with 512GB of capacity provides plenty of space for apps, offline maps, photos, videos and work files. You can expand the capacity by up to 2TB using a memory card.
Smooth visuals on the 6.78" FHD+ display
The large 1080×2460 pixel display provides a clear surface for using the walkie-talkie, viewing maps, working with documents, viewing photos and playing videos. The 120Hz refresh rate ensures smoother content scrolling, snappier animations and a more pleasant response when controlling the device. A brightness of up to 650 nits helps with readability in bright environments and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protective glass reduces the risk of scratches or damage during daily use.
Cameras for work documentation and night shots
The main camera with 108MP resolution uses a Samsung S5KHM6 sensor, PDAF autofocus and a bright f/1.9 aperture lens. It can capture landscapes, technical details and work progress in high resolution and supports video recording up to 2K at 30 frames per second. A separate 8MP camera with infrared illumination takes black and white shots even in complete darkness, which you'll appreciate when checking an area at night, monitoring your surroundings or moving off illuminated paths.
The camera setup is complemented by a 2MP macro camera designed for shooting small components, surfaces and other objects up close. For video calls, online meetings and self-portraits, there's a 32MP front-facing camera with a Sony IMX616 sensor, which can record Full HD video at 30 frames per second.
Android 16 and practical artificial intelligence tools
The Android 16 operating system brings a modern user interface, enhanced privacy options and efficient app management. The Gemini assistant helps with creating and editing text, translations, searching for information or analysing images. The AI Beacon tool consolidates other artificial intelligence features that let you work with photos and documents, translate content, edit text or create images. The availability of specific features may depend on the language, region, application and internet connection.
Light and a loud speaker for demanding environments
On the back of the phone is a large-area camping light with a luminous flux of up to 1200 lumens. It's useful for repairs, working in low-light conditions, setting up camp, moving around at night and during power outages. In addition to various brightness levels, it also offers a warning SOS mode for emergency situations. The phone can therefore replace a separate work lamp or a powerful torch in the field. The features are complemented by a loud 5W speaker, which makes it easier to listen to calls, notifications, navigation and music on a construction site, in a production plant or outdoors. Its powerful sound helps to maintain good audibility even in environments with higher levels of ambient noise.
A design ready for rough handling
The Oukitel WP61 PLUS meets the IP68 and IP69K ratings and the requirements of the MIL-STD-810H durability standard. The construction is protected against dust, water, high-pressure jets and drops from a height of up to 1.5 metres. The IP68 rating includes immersion to a depth of 1.5 metres for up to 30 minutes under specified laboratory conditions. The phone is therefore suitable for work on construction sites, in warehouses, in industrial operations and for demanding outdoor activities.
NFC, navigation and an outdoor toolkit
NFC technology enables the use of compatible contactless payments and other digital services. A side fingerprint reader is available for quick unlocking, and precise positioning is supported by GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou and Galileo systems. You can use the hybrid slot for two Nano SIM cards or for a combination of one Nano SIM and a memory card. There is also Wi-Fi in the 2.4 and 5GHz bands, Bluetooth 5.2, a gyroscope and an electronic compass. The integrated toolkit offers tools such as a compass, sound level meter, spirit level, altimeter, protractor, plumb bob, magnifying glass, mirror and alarm. These practical functions are useful for quick orientation checks at work and during outdoor activities, but they are not a substitute for professional calibrated measuring instruments.
