The thermal camera reveals what you can't see with your eyes
The main specialty of the Oukitel WP61 Ultra is its integrated InfiRay thermal camera, which displays temperature differences in real time. The thermal sensor, with a resolution of 256×192 pixels, NETD sensitivity below 50mK, and a 56° horizontal field of view, can capture even subtle temperature changes. It uses a spectral range of 8 to 14μm and measures temperatures from −10 to 550°C. The accuracy is approximately ±2°C for industrial measurements and ±0.5°C for biological objects.
The thermal camera is useful for inspecting electrical cabinets, finding overheating components, detecting thermal bridges and heat leaks, checking heating or air conditioning, and monitoring mechanical equipment. It also helps with inspecting roofs and walls, navigating in poor visibility, searching for people or animals, or checking your surroundings in complete darkness. The thermal image is not dependent on visible light, so it remains usable in fog, smoke, or darkness.
Five modes for clear thermal inspection
The companion app lets you switch between five display modes. IR mode shows a pure thermal image, while RGB uses the standard camera for a natural capture of the inspected area. MIX mode combines thermal data with the visible image, making it easier to pinpoint the problematic component or area. SPO mode measures the temperature at a selected point, and PIP displays a thermal preview directly over the visible image for quick comparison.
Power for long workdays and expeditions
The 20000mAh battery lets you use navigation, the thermal camera, cameras, mobile connectivity, and the powerful rear light without constantly searching for a socket. The phone is ready for several days of fieldwork, long journeys, and situations where there's no access to the power grid. The stated battery life is up to 2290 hours in standby mode, 118 hours of calls, 26 hours of video playback, or 27 hours of gaming. Actual battery life will vary depending on usage and phone settings.
Support for 45W fast charging helps shorten the time needed to replenish the large battery. Through reverse charging, the Oukitel WP61 Ultra can also supply power to a phone, tablet, watch, headphones, action camera, or other compatible electronics. An optional 10W docking stand with Pogo Pin contacts is also available, which doubles as a convenient phone holder. The docking station is an optional accessory and is not included in the basic package.
Performance from the MediaTek Dimensity 7025 processor
The octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7025 processor uses 6nm manufacturing technology and combines two powerful Cortex-A78 cores running at up to 2.5GHz with six efficient Cortex-A55 cores. It provides plenty of performance for thermal analysis, work applications, navigation, multitasking, multimedia, and mobile gaming. 5G network support enables fast transfers of photos, work documentation, or measured data, and convenient use of cloud services. The phone is equipped with 12GB of physical LPDDR5 RAM, which can be virtually expanded by another 24GB. This allows the system to work with a total capacity of up to 36GB RAM, making it easier to use multiple applications simultaneously. The fast UFS 3.1 storage with 512GB capacity offers plenty of space for thermal images, videos, offline maps, work files, and apps. The capacity can be expanded by up to another 2TB using a memory card.
Smooth 6.78" FHD+ display
The large display with a resolution of 1080×2460 pixels provides a clear area for viewing thermal images, maps, documents, photos, and videos. The 120Hz refresh rate ensures smooth content scrolling, snappy animations, and a more responsive feel during operation. The maximum brightness reaches 650 nits, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 provides protection against scratches and damage.
Cameras for documentation in daylight and complete darkness
The 108MP main camera uses a Samsung S5KHM6 sensor, PDAF autofocus, and a lens with an f/1.9 aperture. It captures wide scenes, technical details, and work progress in high resolution, and supports video recording up to 2K at 30 frames per second. The visible image can also be used together with thermal data, which makes it easier to pinpoint overheating spots.
A separate 8MP camera with an infrared illuminator captures black and white images even in complete darkness. It is useful for checking your surroundings at night, moving off lit paths, or monitoring an area in poor light conditions. For video calls, online meetings, and self-portraits, a 32MP front camera with a Sony IMX616 sensor is ready.
Android 16 and practical artificial intelligence tools
The Android 16 operating system brings a modern user interface, enhanced privacy settings, and efficient app management. The Gemini assistant helps with creating and editing texts, translations, searching for information, or analysing images. The AI Beacon tool centralises other artificial intelligence functions that let you work with photos and documents, translate content, edit text, or create images. The availability of specific functions may depend on the language, region, application, and internet connection.
Powerful light and loud 5W speaker
On the back of the phone is a large-area work and camping light with a luminous flux of up to 1200 lumens. It's useful for equipment inspections, repairs, working in low visibility, setting up camp, and during power outages. In addition to several brightness levels, it also offers a warning SOS mode for emergency situations. The features are rounded out by a 5W speaker designed for good audibility of notifications, navigation instructions, calls, and music, even in noisier environments. It is therefore suitable for construction sites, workshops, industrial plants, and outdoor use.
A design built for tough handling
The Oukitel WP61 Ultra meets the IP68 and IP69K ratings as well as the MIL-STD-810H standard requirements. The construction is protected against dust, water, high-pressure water jets, and drops from a height of up to 1.5 metres. The IP68 rating includes submersion to a depth of 1.5 metres for up to 30 minutes under specified laboratory conditions. The phone is suitable for construction sites, warehouses, service technicians, industrial plants, and demanding outdoor activities.
NFC, navigation, and practical tools
NFC technology enables the use of compatible contactless payments and other digital services. A side fingerprint reader provides quick unlocking, and positioning is supported by GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, and Galileo systems. The hybrid slot can be fitted with two Nano SIM cards or a combination of one Nano SIM and a memory card. Dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, a gyroscope, an electronic compass, and USB-C with OTG support are also included. The integrated toolkit offers tools such as a compass, sound level meter, spirit level, altimeter, protractor, plumb bob, magnifying glass, mirror, and alarm. These practical functions facilitate basic checks and fieldwork, but do not replace specialised, calibrated measuring instruments.
