The 1/2.3" MOS sensor has a 20.4Mpx resolution and complements the wide-angle 28mm lens. Moreover, the lens has a 4.6x optical zoom. Moreover, it can withstand -10°C and 100kg pressure. The hermetically sealed body with a rubber seal and toughened glass protects the camera from humidity, sand and dust. In addition, the Lumix FT7 features a compass and altimeter. This means it can be taken anywhere - in Winter for skiing or snowboarding and in Summer for sailing, diving and fishing.

The Lumix FT7 compact camera shoots ultra-high resolution QFHD 4K videos(3840×2160PX at 30fps in MP4 format). The resolution can be reduced to, for example, Full HD 1920×1080 at 60fps.
Photographers can also put the 4K resolution to good use asthe LUMIX supports the highly popular 4K PHOTO feature. The camera is capable of storing each record window as a separate approximately 8Mpx frame in 4K movie mode(at 30fps). Macro photography lovers will appreciate the Post Focus feature.
