The Lumix FT7 is manufactured with precision
The 1/2.3" MOS sensor has a 20.4Mpx resolution which complements the wide-angle 28mm lens with 4.6x optical zoom. Because of this, the orange Panasonic Lumix FT7 becomes a great companion even at high altitudes. The sensor is capable of a 10fps burst mode. Pictures can be easily viewed on the 3.0" LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 1.04Mpx which gives 100% coverage of the scene. Even the touchscreen of the rear monitor is tough and durable -the screen is made of tempered safety glass.
New Electronic LVF Viewfinder
One of the biggest assets of the LUMIX is a new LVF (Live View Finder) viewfinder. It has a 0.5cm diagonal, a 1.17Mpx resolution and a 4:3 aspect ratio. Monitors can be difficult to see in bright sunshine.The Lumix FT7’s VLF equips you to compose the perfect shot. Using the viewfinder saves a lot of the Lumix FT7’s power, which is especially handy outdoors.
The LUMIX DMC-FT7 Thrives in Harsh Conditions
The new Lumix FT7 in orange is more durable than its predecessors and is the ideal choice for use in harsh conditions. It can reach depths of 15m and does not mind dust or falls from heights of up to 2m. Moreover, it can withstand a temperature of -10°C and 100kg pressure. The body of the camera is hermetically enclosed with a rubber seal and the toughened glass protects the camera from humidity, sand and dust. The Lumix FT7 also has a compass and altimeter. This means it can be taken anywhere all year round. Try it in winter for skiing or snowboarding and in summer for sailing, diving or fishing.
Sharper, Clear Motion with 4K Video
The Lumix FT7 compact camera shoots ultra-high resolution QFHD 4K videos(3840 × 2160Mpx at 30fps in an MP4 format). The resolution can be reduced to, for example, Full HD 1920 × 1080 at 60fps.
Photographers can also put the 4K resolution to good use asthe LUMIX supports the highly popular 4K PHOTO feature. The camera is capable of storing each recorded frame from a video sequence shot at 30fps as a separate approximately 8Mpx image. Macro photography lovers will appreciate the Post Focus feature. The camera’s focus changes throughout the shoot and the best suited picture can then be selected from an array of pictures.
Charge from a Socket or USB Port
The Panasonic Lumix FT7 is equipped with a powerful Li-Ion battery. It can be charged not only through a regular wall socket, but also directly from a USB port on computers, laptops, or power banks. The battery itself is not waterproof.
