Cold pressed linseed oil is a rich source of omega-3 and omega-6 unsaturated fatty acids in an optimal 3: 1 ratio, which have a beneficial effect on skin health, coat quality, digestion and digestive function. Linseed oil is a great alternative to fish oil in dogs who have trouble receiving fish oil. Canvit BARF linseed oil is a full-fledged (100%) alternative to Canvit BARF salmon oil to provide omega-3 fatty acids. Linseed oil contains 55% to 70% omega-3 fatty acid ALA (alpha-linolenic acid), which is approximately 23.0 g omega-3 fatty acid in 100 g linseed oil, and 24% omega-6 fatty acid LA (acid) If the dog or its owner refuses fish oil for any reason, its skin health, quality and shiny coat, healthy joints, proper brain development and a healthy cardiovascular system can be achieved using linseed oil. Another health benefit of flaxseed oil is better digestion and a healthy gastrointestinal tract.
