How to use the eSHa Aqua Quick test kit

With a dry hand, remove one eSHa Aqua-Quick-Test test strip from the box and close it again immediately. Do not touch the test squares on the strip with your fingers.
Dip the strip into the water of the aquarium or pond for one second so that all the test squares are wet.
Gently shake off any remaining water from the test strip with one quick jerk.
Wait 60 seconds for the aquarium or pond water to soak completely into the strip.
Compare the colour of the test strip with the colour scale on the box.
Write down the values and other important data in a table (date, time, location and water temperature).
Take the necessary measures to restore the water quality in your aquarium or pond as needed.

Important notice

Never hold the test strips under running water.
Dip the test strip directly into the water.
If you are testing a sample of aquarium or pond water collected in a jar or cup, make sure that these containers are completely clean before using them to collect the sample. (Substances left in these containers, such as. detergents, may affect the test results. )
The test strips are sensitive, so close the box immediately after removing the strip.
Store the box with the strips in a dry and cool place (max. 30 °C).
Do not touch the test squares on the strip with your fingers.
Always keep the box of strips in its original packaging.
It is important to know what can cause abnormal values of these indicators and what action to take if the strip test shows that the water quality is not OK.
