Lucky Reptile Sphagnum Moss peat moss 100 g 5 l

This sphagnum moss from Lucky Reptile is cultivated in controlled nurseries specifically for terrarium purposes, so its collection and sale do not deplete any natural habitats. Most sphagnum mosses are protected by law, and their collection in the wild is prohibited. The advantage of compressed sphagnum moss is, above all, the possibility of long-term storage. Once you decide to use this moss substrate, simply soak the brick in lukewarm water, and within moments you will have 5L or 25L of moist bedding for tropical terrariums, for creating a shelter, or as a substrate to cover a clutch of eggs. Sphagnum moss is an excellent and essential supplement for keeping reptiles and amphibians from tropical rainforests. Ideally, place the damp sphagnum moss on top of the main substrate in the terrarium. You can also use it to gently cover clutches of eggs in an incubator or add it to transport boxes along with a moisture-retaining gel to provide the animals with a long-lasting source of moisture. Sphagnum moss can also be added to filters in aquariums or aqua-terrariums to adjust the water's pH to the required level. It is also suitable as a substrate for orchids and other epiphytes. After adding water, the sphagnum moss looks like it has been freshly collected from natural habitats, but it contains no foreign organisms, insects, or sharp particles of twigs that could injure your pets.
