The Coriolus fungus is the focus of interest for many scientists around the world. In our case, it is a veterinary product, which can be given to pets to support immunity (reduces fatigue and supports immunity), but also as a supportive agent in the treatment of cancer, when it promotes the reduction of side effects, such as fatigue, loss of appetite, nausea and vomiting.
Powder (biomass) or extract?
Although they may be from the same herb, resp. mushrooms, these are two different products, two different ways of processing. But each has its own meaning. While extracts are actually extracts, which are concentrated and contain high amounts of polysaccharides, glucans and other substances beneficial to the body, so the powder or biomass acts more synergistically than extracts, because it contains all the substances and enzymes, that are lost during extraction. The powder form of the biomass also has a gentler action compared to the extract. Biomass promotes better uptake and absorption of polysaccharides into the immune system at the gut level. In general, biomass can be recommended for long-term use and extracts for acute problems.
Digestibility and processing
- Mushrooms must be processed in such a way that the digestive system can digest them. The coating of the fungal cells is chitin, which is difficult to digest.
- So if we want to use mushrooms for our pet, resp. from their cells, to extract the maximum amount of active substances, we have to process them in such a way as to disrupt their chitin coating.
- In the case of extracts, this is done by gentle extraction with hot water; in the case of some mushrooms, a second extraction with alcohol is necessary, i.e. a double extraction.
- In the case of powders (biomass), the dried mushroom fruit is ground using a special shellbroken method that disintegrates the cells for higher digestibility.

- We carry out heavy metal and microbiological analyses on every batch of all raw materials that we import from third world, i.e. non-EU countries.
- You can view the results of the batches for free. We also carry out analyses for pesticides, mycotoxins and polyaromatic hydrocarbons randomly or if suspected.

Coriolus Biomass (powder from the mushroom Coriolus versicolour (Outlaw Variegated)) 300 mg, vegetable capsule (HPMC).
Recommended dosage
Designed for pets.
For dogs and cats, dose according to the weight of the animal:
<10 kg - 2 tob. /day
10-20 kg - 3 tob. /day
20-30 kg - 4 tob. /day
>30 kg - 5 tob. /day

The veterinary preparation is intended for animals only. Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage. Once opened, use within 3 months. The jar also contains moisture absorbers that are not intended for consumption.
