Royal Canin VD Dog Urinary S/O is a complete dietary food that effectively supports the dissolution of struvite stones and reduces the recurrence of struvite stones. Acidic urine provides unfavorable conditions for bacteria, which are usually associated with the appearance of struvite stones. The low calorie content of the food allows the dog to maintain an ideal body weight. Urine dilution reduces the concentration of struvite and calcium oxalate ions. It helps to reduce the concentration of ions that contribute to crystal formation.

Feeding instructions
It is advisable to seek the opinion of a veterinarian before use or before extending the period of use. Administer URINARY S/O MODERATE CALORIE for 5 to 12 weeks to dissolve struvite stones and from the beginning to 6 months to reduce the recurrence of struvite stones. The amount of the daily portion may depend on the age, size, activity and living conditions of the dog. The food can be fed alone or in combination with a dry diet.
