Royal Canin VD Dog Urinary S/O is a complete dietary food for dogs that effectively dissolves struvite stones and reduces their re-formation, based on its ability to acidify urine. as well as due to its low magnesium content and reduced content of high-quality proteins. Due to the larger volume of urine, the bladder is also regularly flushed. Urinary S/O Canine effectively supports the dissolution of struvite stones. Acidic urine provides unfavourable conditions for the bacteria usually associated with struvite stones, and unsaturated urine cannot grow urinary crystals. Such an environment therefore prevents the formation of struvite or oxalate crystals. A synergistic complex of antioxidants (vitamins E and C, taurine and lutein) mitigates the degradation of cellular DNA, strengthens immunity and reduces the effects of free radicals, which increase with age.

Feeding instructions
It is advisable to seek the opinion of a veterinarian before use or before extending the period of use. Feed Urinary S/O for 5 to 12 weeks to dissolve struvite stones and up to 6 months to reduce the risk of their reoccurrence. Always provide the animal with access to clean water.
