Royal Canin VD Dog Dry Urinary S/O 2 kg
Royal Canin VD Dog Dry Urinary S/O is a complete dietary food for dogs that effectively dissolves struvite stones and reduces their re-formation, based on its ability to acidify urine thanks to its low magnesium content and reduced content of high-quality proteins. Urinary S/O Canine effectively promotes the dissolution of struvite stones. Acidic urine provides unfavourable conditions for bacteria, which are usually associated with the occurrence of struvite stones. In unsaturated urine, urinary crystals cannot grow. Such an environment therefore prevents the formation of struvite or oxalate crystals. A slight increase in sodium leads to dilution of the urine and its acidification. This dissolves and prevents the formation of further struvite stones. Due to the larger volume of urine, the bladder is also regularly flushed.
