IPL technology

Philips Lumea uses innovative light-based technology called IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) to interrupt the hair growth cycle. After several treatments fine pulses of light will prevent the roots of the hair from becoming active again. Philips Lumea Prestige is the culmination of 14 years of research and development in collaboration with leading dermatologists.

Easy to use

IPL technology has been available in specialised salons since 1997. Philips Lumea products are derived from this professional technology and allow you to get rid of the hair easily and efficiently from the comfort of your home.

Verified efficiency

An objective study demonstrates a significant reduction in hair growth after just three to four treatments over a two-week interval. To maintain these results, repeat the treatment every four to eight weeks according to your individual needs.

Suitable for a wide range of hairs and skin types

Philips Lumea effectively, easily and safely treats a variety of different hair and skin types. It is effective in hairs of natural dark blonde, brown and black colours and with skin tones from very light to dark brown. Like other IPL-based technologies, Philips Lumea is not suitable for light blonde or reddish hair, and is not suitable for very dark skin due to the demand for high contrast between hairs and hue pigments.

Treatment of various areas of the body

Each part of the body is different and Philips Lumea is the only IPL device that offers uniquely rounded extensions designed to effectively treat individual areas. Extensions differ in shape, window size and filter combination, offering specialised body treatments (legs, arms, abdomen), cheeks (upper lip, chin), bikin areas and armpits.

Face Extension

The Face Extension has its own, specially designed built-in filter and a small flat window for gentle and precise use on the upper lip, chin and jaw. 84% of the women who tried the Philips Lumea system were happy with the hair reduction.

Body Attachment

Thanks to its larger size and convex shape, it replicates the shape of the body and effectively covers areas such as the legs, arms and abdomen. Dobry den, rada by som si zaobstarala niektory z pristrojov Philips Lumea. Mate ich tu 5 typov a zaujimalo by ma, aky je medzi jednotlivymi rozdiel, kedze cenova relacia sa pohybuje medzi 250 az skoro 500 Eur. Dakujem.
