The Pioneer XDJ-R1 MIDI Controller is the next generation of a popular mixer. It is the top product of Pioneers home mixer range that combines a wireless "all in one" player, mixer and MIDI controller. Input devices include iOS, Android or Windows devices that send a signal via Wi-Fi, a USB connection or two CD-R/RW drives. The unit also works with Pioneers new mobile application, which works as a standalone mixer or can also be a MIDI and HID controller.

The XDJ-R1 has all the features a DJ needs for his work. The two workspaces have four parts, jog, samples, effects, and colour filter. A special feature is HOT CUE, which allows you to run up to three predefined sequences immediately.

Rekordbox allows you to create and edit track lists while playing. There is a very useful BEAT SYNC, which synchronises the tracks. You can then then play your creations in speakers or save them to a flash device.

The controller is in a classic black design with a stylish aluminium front panel.
