The Plustek SmartOffice PS506U offers a high scanning speed of 50ppm (100ppm for double-sided). It is equipped with one of the most advanced document delivery and separation systems that can scan a combination of paper sizes and weights. It can handle everything from business cards to tough legitimations and diverse documents. It also supports double-sided document (duplex). The ADF is also robust enough to handle up to three hard cards or an embossed card at up 1.2mm of thickness.

In addition to a searchable PDF, you can transform paper documents into editable, Microsoft Office files, as well as regular JPG and TIFF image formats. Standard TWAIN and ISIS drivers provide compatibility with thousands of scanned image processing applications.

The 100-sheet feeder, with a daily work cycle of 6,000 pages, ensures a long service life, even under constant use. The scanner includes an ultrasonic sensor that prevents duplication of documents. When scanning documents with labels, glued notes, or receipts, simply turn it off. This modern system effectively prevents duplication of documents, and effectively scans documents of varying weight and thickness. It also handles large-volume, document scanning without any problems.
