The Pro-Ject E1 BT is a turntable from the budget-friendly E-line, aiming to deliver true hi-fi sound at a surprisingly low price. The manufacturing process and choice of materials result in an elegant, stylish design and a rich, vibrant sound. Setting up the turntable is very simple and intuitive. The tonearm is fitted with a cartridge and has a pre-set tracking force. All you need to do is attach the belt, platter, and dust cover, and connect the turntable to a suitable amplifier input. Thanks to the built-in (and switchable) MM phono preamplifier, you can connect the turntable either directly to a line-level input or choose a phono-level input (preamp).

The stylish, CNC-machined composite fibre chassis of the Pro-Ject E1 BT turntable, available in a satin white finish, is carefully crafted to have no hollow spaces, preventing unwanted vibrations. The lightweight 8.6” low-friction aluminium tonearm is optimised for the high-quality, pre-installed Audio Technica AT 3600 L cartridge to unlock its full potential.
Stable operation and simple speed control
The Pro-Ject E1 BT turntable is fitted with a moulded platter made of reinforced ABS polymer, which creates an ideal platform for your vinyl records. The platter is driven by a belt and a damped DC motor. You'll also appreciate the electronic speed switching. Simply flick the three-position switch on the side to the desired position for 33 or 45rpm. Three damped feet provide effective isolation from unwanted vibrations, and a removable transparent dust cover is included as standard.
Precise tonearm tracking for stable playback
Thanks to its drive system, the Pro-Ject E1 BT ensures the smooth and stable platter rotation needed for precise tracking of the tonearm and stylus in the groove. The straight tonearm of the E1 B1 is based on Pro-Ject's proven designs. An effective length of 8.6”, aluminium construction, a specially developed headshell and an excellent low-friction bearing are all important for correct tracking accuracy.
Complete with cables and accessories
The Pro-Ject E1 BT includes a directly attached, shielded, low-capacitance phono cable (1.23m) with RCA connectors. Also included are a singles adapter, a dust cover, and a felt platter mat for added protection for your vinyl records. A separate 15V / 0.8A DC power supply is also supplied.
