SAFESCAN 2250 is an almost new item, in perfect condition, and comes with a full warranty. However, someone opened the original packaging before you. Why? It could have been an unwanted gift. For detailed information, click here.
If you are looking for a high-quality banknote computer, the Safescan 2250 is the ideal solution for you. It can count 1000 banknotes per minute for all currencies. All necessary information is shown on a clear LCD display. An especially useful function is three-point automatic counterfeit detection. Of course, there is also the "Butch" function that allows you to set the number of banknotes you want, and the computer counts that exact amount. The package includes a manual, cleaning and service kit, power cables (EUR/UK/Switzerland) and a dust cover.
Euro banknote size change
With Euro banknote size change, it is necessary to check for firmware updates if you use the Safescan 2250 banknote counter. The latest update can be downloaded here.
After opening the link, insert the banknote counter model and its product code if possible. A new version of firmware can be downloaded into the banknote counter using a USB cable or a MicroSD card.
It is also recommended to switch to “ALL” currency sorting. This way the Safescan 2250 banknote counter can count both old and new banknotes at the same time.

Three-point control of banknote security features
This computer can verify authenticity during bank counting for all three points. It checks both the UV tag and the magnetic elements and ultimately the size. When an error is detected, it stops counting.
