How does the computer check banknotes?
Safescan 2985-SX is capable of 100% authenticity checks of 7 currencies (CZK, EUR, USD, GBP, CHF, PLN, BGN) and others will continue to be added. Each such banknote undergoes several checks - UV, control of the magnetic printing ink, metal strip, infrared elements, colour, image, paper thickness and dimensions. In addition, the computer is equipped with CIS technology that can read serial numbers on banknotes.

Central banks regularly issue new versions of banknotes and coins. These can be different in material, weight, or new security features. However, with the Safescan 2985-SX you do not have to worry about updates.
