The perfect cup of coffee requires properly treated and optimally ground coffee. The precise water temperature, correct pressure, and duration of the entire extraction time. Sage coffee machines are designed to provide all 4 key elements needed to prepare a delicious cup, just like top professional machines. These features are: optimal coffee grinding of 19–22g to achieve a full flavour, precise water control of +/- 1°C, low-pressure pre-infusion and extraction at 9 bars, and sufficient steam pressure to create a silky smooth micro-foam texture.

Micro-foam milk froth is a real challenge even for professionals. It requires a precise amount of air, which is evenly distributed into the whipped milk. At the same time, the milk needs to be heated to the right temperature. If the temperature rises above 65°C, the milk protein starts to separate. A layer of water forms.
