State-of-the-art optical stabilizer to substitute tripod

Significant magnification by telephoto lens usually requires a tripod. However, the perfect moment often escapes after having prepared the appropriate tools. That's why the manufacturer added a powerful Optical Stabilizer (OS) that enables you to take perfect photos holding the SLR in your hand for longer exposure times as well as full zoom. Thanks to the newly developed gyroscopic sensor with exclusive algorithm, the OS provides you with powerful stabilizing effect. The acceleration sensor detects changes in all directions, so the system works even when with the portrait format.

The optical assembly has been designed to make the lens compact and to deliver superior image quality across the zoom range. Four SLD glass lenses optimize light distribution, minimize deviations, mainly transverse aberration that cannot be corrected with aperture. There are three types of low-dispersion glass - ELD (extra low dispersion), SLD (special low dispersion) and FLD ("F" Low Dispersion) to suppress chromatic aberration. The Super Multi-Layer Coating increases contrast and reduces glare and blur.
