This sophisticated EX telephoto lens from the well-known Japanese company Sigma is ideal for sports, photo journalism, and taking photos of nature and animals. Optical image stabilisation in the body reduces the impact of camera shake to produce sharper images. The autofocus uses an ultrasonic micromotor, which offers high speed, precision, and quiet operation. Furthermore, the three-part apochromatic lens corrects secondary chromatic aberration.

This lens is designed for digital SLR cameras with full frame 35mm sensors. The lens has a fixed focal length of 150mm and a maximum aperture of f/2.8. It is equipped with a switch for macro photography, which in normal shooting streamlines autofocus. A lens hood is also included.
