Benefits of the Sony FE 200-600mm F5.6-6.3 G OSS wide-angle supertelephoto lens
Lens can handle up to 600mm zoom
The lens itself can zoom up to 600mm, but you can reach up to 1200mm using a teleconverter. The Sony super telephoto lens is compatible with 1.4x and 2.0x teleconverters, for focal lengths of 840 or 1200 mm at F13. The use of teleconverters preserves image quality and autofocus performance. Zoom and aperture with a 1.4x teleconverter ranges from 280-840mm at F8-9. The range of the 2.0× teleconverter is 400-1200 mm at F11-13.2.
The lens offers high resolution throughout the zoom range
The Sony FE 200-600mm F5.6-6.3 G OSS super telephoto lens has five extra-low dispersion ED glass elements and one aspherical element, giving the lens superior resolution and image quality in all zoom ranges. The aspherical element effectively suppresses spherical aberration and distortion, while the ED elements minimize chromatic defects.
Sony lens handles fast autofocus
Don't miss a shot. The Sony FE 200-600mm F5.6-6.3 G OSS lens uses a direct drive SSM system to provide both the power and precision to get the lens to focus quickly and accurately on what you want. The DDSSM system is also extremely quiet.
Natural bokeh effect typical of G Series lenses
The Sony FE 200-600mm F5.6-6.3 G OSS has a circular aperture with 11 blades to create a more impressive bokeh effect. This allows you to take advantage of the low depth of field when shooting at telephoto focal lengths. Use the Sony FE 200-600mm F5.6-6.3 G OSS to create impressive images with a deep and subtle bokeh effect.
Intuitive controls for shooting in the field
The Sony FE 200-600mm F5.6-6.3 G OSS lens has a special zoom mechanism to ensure that its length does not change during zooming. Therefore, you can comfortably shoot handheld. Three customizable focus lock buttons (90° apart) are located on the lens, ensuring easy access when shooting in any position. The front member has a fluorine coating. The Sony FE 200-600mm F5.6-6.3 G OSS lens has a dust- and moisture-resistant design so you can rely on it for shooting in challenging conditions.
Sophisticated lens design
The Sony G-Series lens has a sophisticated design that strikes a precise balance between high resolution and effective background blur (bokeh). The Sony FE 200-600mm F5.6-6.3 G OSS will expand your photographic horizons.

Sony Corporation is a Japanese company founded in 1946. Its headquarters is located in Tokyo. Its beginnings were humble. The first product sold under the Sony brand was a transistor radio. It was those radios that played a pivotal role in the company's expansion in the 1960s and the world quickly began to associate Sony products with a reliably stellar price-performance ratio.
In the 1970s, Sony was severely affected by the global economic crisis. Many analysts considered the company effectively defunct and could see no future for it. However, they underestimated the famous Japanese perseverance and courage. The crisis was not a disaster for Sony; on the contrary, it served as a launching pad to even greater heights. The company recovered and soon changed the media landscape with the development of the CD and later the DVD. In the early 1990s, Sony achieved another major success with the introduction of the PlayStation gaming console. It is the gaming consoles that best represent the intersection of the three key areas in which the company operates today – electronics, video games, and the entertainment industry.
