Instructions for setting the BERTOO Napoli TSA trunk lock
The suitcase equipped with a TSA lock is set by the manufacturer to a 0-0-0 combination. To change the code, press the button next to the dials with a thin object and set the new code. Then press the open button in the direction of the arrow and if you hear a click, your new code is successfully set. To close the lock, set any other combination on the dial. Code can be changed repeatedly, with no limit on the number of changes.
Notice: It is essential to remember the newly set code. If it is forgotten, the trunk can only be opened by breaking the lock.
TSA lock
The TSA lock system, marked with a red diamond symbol, is primarily designed to make it easy to open your luggage without damaging it during any inspection. At the same time, this check can be carried out more quickly. With this type of lock, TSA security officers can open and inspect your bag without having to destroy the lock. All TSA locks are identified by the code TSA001 to TSA007, which corresponds to the type of master key that is used to open this type of lock. Keys to TSA locks are not over-the-counter and are only available to TSA personnel. After checking your luggage, these staff are required to insert a check notice into your suitcase and the suitcase must be relocked.
