The limit temperature of -6°C indicates the threshold at which an average man (70kg, 173cm) can sleep without feeling cold in a curled-up position, although comfort may vary individually and also depends on cold tolerance. The extreme temperature of -23°C is only a rough safety guideline and is not recommended as a basis for selecting a sleeping bag.
