Cold Steel SRK Compact SK-5
The SRK Compact SK-5 military knife is a versatile knife. The knife is very popular among the armed forces and emergency services and is standard equipment of the US Navy. The knife has been tested in the harshest environments in operations around the world. The blade of the knife is made of Japanese high carbon steel SK-5, which is traditionally used for the production of a wide range of hand tools including chisels and wood saws, drills, etc. The steel has high toughness, holds the blade very well and has great resistance to abrasion. The blade is also treated with Black Tuff-Ex black finish against corrosion. It is a similar material to Teflon. The perfectly shaped Kraton (Long Kray-Ex) handle offers a non-slip surface. It fits perfectly in the hand and allows even very delicate knife work in wet and muddy environments. The knife comes with a Secure-Ex sheath to protect you and the blade.
