TSA lock
The primary purpose of a TSA lock system, marked with a red diamond symbol, is to enable luggage to be easily opened for inspection without damage. This also allows the check to be carried out more quickly. Security staff can open and inspect luggage with this type of lock without having to break it. All TSA locks are marked with a code from TSA001 to TSA007, which corresponds to the type of master key designed to open that type of lock. Keys for TSA locks are not sold to the public and are only available to TSA agents. After inspecting the luggage, these agents are required to place a notice of inspection in your suitcase and relock it. It is particularly recommended for travel to the USA, as the TSA is primarily an American organisation, but TSA standards are also used at airports outside the United States.Specifications
