How to set the Roncato suitcase TSA lock
You can change the number combination as follows:
1. Set the lock to the opening combination (the factory default is 0-0-0).
2. Press the reset button with a pen or other pointed object until you hear a click.
3. Set your new number on the dial and remember it well.
4. Push the PUSH button in the direction of the arrow.
The reset button will return to its original position and you will hear a click. Your new numerical code is now set. If you want to change your code, simply repeat steps 1 to 4.
Opening the lock:
To release the zip pullers to open the suitcase, enter the correct code and push the PUSH button in the direction of the arrow (the factory default code is 0-0-0, if you have not yet set your own code).
TSA lock
The primary purpose of TSA lock systems, marked with a red diamond symbol, is to enable luggage to be easily opened for inspection without damage. It can also speed up this check. TSA security officers can use this type of lock to open and inspect the luggage without having to destroy the lock. All TSA locks are marked with a code from TSA001 to TSA007, which corresponds to the type of universal key used to open this type of lock. Keys to TSA locks are not sold to the public and are only available to TSA personnel. After inspecting your luggage, these officers are required to place an inspection notice in your suitcase and the suitcase must be re-locked. It is especially recommended for travel to the USA, as the TSA is primarily an American organisation, but TSA standards are also used at airports outside the United States.Specifications
