The core of the rod is a high-modulus Toray carbon blank, which gives it strength and a fast casting action. The surface is also reinforced with a lightweight Lite-ply 1K carbon wrap, increasing durability without adding unnecessary weight. The two sections are joined using Vari-Taper technology. This ensures a smooth power transfer, creating a curve as if it were a one-piece rod, which you'll appreciate when playing large fish.
The compact transport dimensions are achieved thanks to the Recon technology with its double-retracting butt section. Recon technology allows the full-length 3.6-metre rod to pack down to just 1.27 metres, making it easy to transport and store. The rod is fitted with lightweight black M-Series DL guides, which minimise friction and support long casts. The first butt guide has a diameter of 50mm. The reel is secured by an 18mm Fuji DPS seat, and a slim Japanese shrink rubber handle provides a secure grip.
