The Vango Nevis 100 tent is suitable for short trips and hiking. It guarantees a comfortable rest and sleep for one person. It consists of a durable flysheet made of Protex 70D material with a hydrostatic head of 3,000mm, which protects against bad weather, a groundsheet with a hydrostatic head of 6,000mm to prevent moisture penetration, and an inner tent made of polyester and breathable mesh for better ventilation. It has a tunnel construction that speeds up pitching. It features PowerLite aluminium poles for low weight and high stability. The TBSII system ensures stability even in strong winds, while the ventilation panels help to eliminate condensation. The Vango Nevis 100 is Protected from Moisture and Bad Weather
The All-In-One Pitching system makes pitching and packing up the tent easy. The inner tent is attached to the flysheet. You can also pitch the flysheet separately to use as a simple shelter. The PowerLite poles, made from 7071-T6 aluminium alloy, provide a balance between weight and strength. The durable and easy-to-clean groundsheet features 10cm raised edges to protect the tent from moisture and bad weather. The O-shaped door allows for convenient one-handed opening and closing, while the partially meshed inner door ensures ideal airflow while protecting against insects. The Rain Stop doors are designed to prevent water from dripping inside the tent when opened.

The Vango Nevis 100 tent is quick and easy to pitch, taking approximately 5 minutes. It features high-visibility reflective guylines, which make it easier to find your way around and increase safety in low light. The high-tension guylines ensure reliable tensioning even in demanding conditions and are easy to adjust with one hand. Durable and lightweight aluminium pegs allow for secure anchoring of the tent. Taped seams on the flysheet and groundsheet ensure watertightness.

The flysheet has ventilation openings with a mesh cover at both ends, which improve air circulation and eliminate condensation. The spacious porch offers a sheltered space where you can store equipment and luggage. The Vango Nevis 100 tent is tested against wind and rain. It meets the European standard EN5912, and its fire-retardant materials comply with the European safety standard EN5912. The package also includes a carry bag with a drawstring and compression straps.

Hydrostatic Head
Indicates the resistance of the fabric and seams to water penetration. It indicates the amount of water the material can hold before it starts to leak. The higher the value in mm, the higher the resistance of the tent. Every tent should have a flysheet with a hydrostatic head of at least 2,000mm, which is approximately the pressure exerted by a raindrop falling at 80-90 km/h. To survive a storm unscathed, a hydrostatic head of at least 3,000mm is safer. For the groundsheet, a hydrostatic head of 5,000mm is recommended for general hiking. For more demanding conditions, choose a groundsheet with a hydrostatic head of 8,000–10,000mm.Specifications
