Unlike conventional two-way systems, the Swan M300MKII uses an active three-way crossover that independently divides the frequencies between the tweeter, mid-range and bass driver. Each speaker therefore only works in the range for which it is designed. The result is a more accurate music presentation, better separation of individual instruments and more natural vocal reproduction across a variety of musical genres.

On the side of the main speaker are volume, bass and treble controls with a ±3dB correction option for easy adjustment of the sound to specific preferences and room acoustics.
